This stunning metal raised bed is stylish and pleasing to look at as well as being hard wearing and practical. The sides measure 42cm high so it can be used to create a fantastic growing bed with a depth that is sufficient for most rooted crops such as carrots and potatoes. Being dark in colour, it has the advantage of absorbing heat which will help germination in the early spring, and then in the summer it's dark sides will add a pleasant contrast to the colourful plants and flowers growing in and around. It comes complete with all necessary nuts and bolts for assembly, as well as a rubber banding for the top to protect from the metal edges. It does take some time to assemble due to the number of nuts and bolts; we recommend 2 people are on hand and at least an hour is set aside for this task.
