Giving seedlings a heated environment helps them to germinate, so using this propagator enables seedlings to be brought on early in the season, ready to be planted out as soon as the weather permits. Measuring 80cm wide by 20cm deep and 20cm tall, it can be either directly filled with soil and planted up, or have separate pots placed inside with a variety of different seedlings. Whichever planting method is decided on, the soil will be maintained at a heat of 70 degrees Fahrenheit (approx 21 degrees centigrade). The temperature is controlled by the thermostat. The clear lid can be easily lifted off and placed back on (held in place with moulded ridges) and it comes with 2 adjustable vents, enabling the humidity to be controlled as required.
