Description
Digital Counter (230V 50/60Hz) The Digital Counter (230V 50/60Hz) is a piece of equipment for measuring variables like motion duration, transition times, pendulum movements, frequencies and counting. Fitted with a series of helpful features like an optional speaker, a programmable counting period, and manual or automatic functioning, it is a great measurement device for use in laboratory experiments. Who Can Use the Digital Counter? Designed for us with a photo gate or Geiger-Müller counter, the Digital Counter allows you to measure certain variables during experiments. With an optional speaker and programmable counting period, it offers intuitive operation and is suitable for use in schools, universities or professional laboratories. What Variables Can the Digital Counter Track? The digital counter can be directly hooked up to either a 3B Scientific light barrier, or Geiger-Müller counter. It can then be used to measure variables including: Duration of moving objects Movement of pendulums Frequencies Counting events Counting Geiger tube pulses How Easy Is It To Operate the Digital Counter? The Digital Counter has many in-built features intended to make monitoring your experiments as easy as possibly. For example, it has the choice of a speaker which can be turned on or off during experiments, and a measurement period of between 0.1 milliseconds and 99,999 seconds. Additionally, you can select whether you want to manually start the measurement period, or if you'd like it to be started by an input socket signal.
